Removals between İstanbul and Sivas

For a move to Sivas in Central Anatolia, we account for the road via Ankara and preparation for colder weather.

Sivas is inland in Central Anatolia; the route calculation ends at its provincial centre. We move households both ways. Education, family changes or a new home may prompt a move, while delivery outside the centre adds distance.

Distance and time computed with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data from our Sancaktepe base to Sivas city centre (2026-10-01); lorry speed, breaks and weather are not included. Population is the TÜİK ADNKS figure as recorded on Wikidata. Population and migration: TÜİK, Address-Based Population Registration System and Internal Migration Statistics 2025 (reuse permitted with attribution). Climate: NASA POWER monthly climatology 2001–2020 for the roughly 50 km grid cell containing the city centre; coastal and mountain differences are averaged within the cell. The road from İstanbul to Sivas

From Sancaktepe, the lorry takes the O-7 and O-4 motorways to the north-west junction of the Ankara Ring Road, then the D-200/D200 state road towards Sivas. Tolls are included in the quotation. The table above shows about 853 km and over nine and a half hours of uninterrupted driving, excluding loading and breaks. At over 600 km, we plan two travel days with an overnight stop and driver rest.

Who is moving to Sivas

TÜİK's 2025 figures show around 24 % of arrivals cited education, 22 % family dependence and 16 % better housing. A student may move one room or a few items between a dormitory and flat; part-load moving may fit. For a move to relatives, we check furniture and possible storage. A 3+1 or 4+1 layout frames a volume discussion, confirmed from the inventory. More people left Sivas than arrived in 2025, with a net rate below -10 per thousand; we plan the Sivas-to-İstanbul direction too.

How we arrange the delivery window

We coordinate loading in İstanbul, driver rest and unloading access in Sivas. Each job has its own delivery window; weather, traffic and building readiness may change it. A smaller load may suit part-load moving. Send both addresses and a date range via contact; see the long-distance moving guide.

At the Sivas end

Outside Sivas centre, the final distance and lorry access vary. We check parking, carrying distance, floors and entrance before unloading. If dates leave a gap, we can discuss storage.

Packing and vehicle

We label cartons, protect furniture and secure the load in a closed-body vehicle for the Sivas unloading order. Access at both ends helps us assess an external lift; see exterior lift moving. Cover can be arranged through a partner under insured removals, subject to policy terms.

Winter journeys to Sivas

NASA POWER's 2001–2020 Sivas-centre averages show about 87 winter frost days and a coldest-month mean minimum of -25.9 °C; this is not a forecast. We review loading and road time. Seasonal tyres and a calendar buffer depend on conditions; delays can affect the job-specific delivery window.

What affects the cost

The quotation reflects volume, floors and lift access, lorry access, packing, date, the 853 km route, tolls and overnight travel. A student room and a full home need different arrangements. Use the calculator or moving-price guide.
