School and Campus Relocation
Our school moving service is for school belongings, not pupil transport. We plan classroom furniture, laboratory materials and library books around the layout of each section.
School moving means moving school belongings, not pupils. Atasoy Nakliyat plans classroom furniture, library books, administrative belongings and laboratory materials around your school or campus layout. We serve all 39 districts of İstanbul and all 81 provinces of Türkiye.
What school and campus removals include
- Moving desks, tables, chairs, cupboards and classroom boards
- Boxing library books by shelf order or section
- Preparing laboratory materials separately according to grouping details provided by the school
- Labelling files and office belongings in administrative departments
- Placing belongings in the relevant classroom, floor or department at the new campus
The school's responsible team should advise what the laboratory materials are and how they need to be prepared. We use that information to plan boxes and loading. Classification of pupil records or staff files, and decisions about who may access them, also remain with the school management.
How to plan a school move
Whether moving between buildings on campus or to another address, we first agree which classrooms and departments are included. A floor plan or room list helps us direct boxes and larger furniture to the right places. If library shelf order needs to be preserved, we add shelf and sequence details to the book-box labels and place them in the same order at the new address.
Consider the moving date alongside the school calendar, exams, enrolment periods and the readiness of the new building. The summer holiday may offer a period when classrooms are empty, but school management decides the suitable dates and scope. If part of the campus remains in use, we divide the work areas and sequence accordingly. For the general approach to workplace removals, see our office removals page; for boxing and protection, see our packing service.
What happens on moving day
Each box is labelled with its classroom or department code. We note which section desks and cupboards belong to in the loading plan. Library boxes are kept in order, following their shelf and section details. Laboratory materials are handled separately from classroom belongings according to the grouping and preparation plan supplied by the school.
At the new address, we place larger furniture according to the room and floor plan, then leave boxes in the departments shown on their labels. If the campus has several blocks, clear building and floor codes on the labels are important. This lets school staff receive boxes in their own areas instead of having to sort them again later.
What affects the price
The price depends on the number of classrooms and departments, the amount of furniture and boxes, how laboratory materials are prepared, floors and lift access at both addresses, distance, and any packing, dismantling or assembly required. Distribution across different campus buildings or working hours limited by the school calendar also affects planning. Send photos or a video and both addresses on WhatsApp, or request a survey.
Preparing before the move
- Give each classroom and department a clear code for its new location
- Note the library shelf order, section names and book groups
- Agree with the responsible team how laboratory materials should be prepared for moving
- Share dates in the exams, enrolment and events calendar that affect access to the moving area
- Send the moving team a building, floor and room plan for the new campus
Frequently asked questions
Does school moving mean pupil transport?
No. This service is for moving classroom furniture, library books, laboratory materials and other school belongings. It is not a pupil transport service.
Can you move library books in shelf order?
Yes. If you provide the shelf, sequence or section codes before the move, we label the books with those details and place them in the same order at the new address.
When should we get in touch about a school move?
When the departments to be moved, school calendar and readiness date for the new campus are becoming clear, request a survey through our contact page or send photos and videos with both addresses on WhatsApp. We can plan the sequence and suitable working times together.
