Shop and Retail Relocation
A shop move needs a plan for shelving, display cabinets, the till counter and stock together. We clarify the closing arrangements, building access hours and new layout from the outset.
Products and the new layout need to stay clear throughout a shop move. Atasoy Nakliyat plans the work around your trading arrangements and building rules. We serve all 39 districts of İstanbul and all 81 provinces of Türkiye.
What shop removals include
- Moving shelving, display cabinets, presentation units and till counters
- Boxing stock by product group or shop section
- Dismantling shelving and furniture where needed, then assembling them at the new address
- Placing boxes and components according to the new shop's layout
- A separate packing plan for fragile display parts and delicate products
Making products ready for sale, setting up tills or sales systems and arranging the shop for opening remain your business's responsibility. We handle the physical move, packing and assembly of furniture in the agreed locations. For the general approach to workplace moves, see our office removals page; for packing, see our packing service.
How to plan a shop move
We review both addresses, the furniture and stock, and floor and lift access. A layout shows where each shelf, display cabinet and counter should go. Labelling stock boxes by section or shelf makes it easier to find products at the new premises.
For a shop in a shopping centre, the loading bay, goods entrance and moving hours may be subject to the centre management's rules. Confirm permissions, goods-lift access and accepted time slots with the management in advance. We can plan whether work needs to take place at night and when entry is allowed; we do not assume building rules or opening hours.
What happens on moving day
First, we agree the order for dismantling shelves, display cabinets and the till counter, and how to move them to the loading area. We group dismantled parts so they do not get mixed up, and load stock boxes with their section codes visible. Display cabinets and delicate parts are protected separately; we arrange the load so the shop furniture and stock do not damage one another.
At the new address, we follow the agreed layout. Shelves and furniture are assembled in their planned sections, then stock boxes are placed in the relevant areas according to their codes. Assembly of shelving at the new shop can be included in the move; tell us in advance which units need to be dismantled and reassembled. Electrical work, lighting, alarms, internet and payment systems are not part of the move.
What affects the price
The price depends on the number of shelves and display cabinets, the amount of stock, dismantling and assembly, packing needs, floors and lift access at both addresses, distance, and access hours set by a shopping centre. Moving stock in stages or loading within a restricted time slot can also change the plan. For an assessment, send photos or a video of the shop and both addresses on WhatsApp, or request a survey.
Preparing before the move
- Mark the new positions of shelves and the till on a simple plan of the shop
- Sort stock by product group or by its section at the new premises
- Tell us separately about fragile products and display glass
- Confirm entry, goods-receiving and lift times with the shopping-centre or building management
- Arrange for the relevant provider to disconnect tills, payment, alarm and network systems
Frequently asked questions
Do you move shops in shopping centres?
Yes. For a shopping-centre shop, we find out the management's entry and loading hours in advance and plan the team and vehicle around them. Permissions and times need to be confirmed with the shop management.
Will you assemble the shelving at the new address?
We can assemble the shelves and furniture included in the moving plan at the new address. Let's agree in advance which units need dismantling and assembly, how many parts there are and where they go in the new layout.
How can I request a quote for a shop move?
Send both addresses, photos or a video of the shop, and any shopping-centre or building time restrictions on WhatsApp. You can also request a survey through our contact page; we can plan the new shop layout together.
Where to next?
Tell us where from, where to and when. A few photos are usually enough for a quote.
