Why does volume matter?

When planning a move, the crew, vehicle and schedule depend largely on the volume of your belongings. Two homes with the same number of rooms can contain very different amounts, so having a rough volume in mind can make the quote conversation quicker.

How are the figures calculated?

We use an average loading volume for each item, based on what is commonly seen in home moves. Furniture dimensions, whether it is dismantled and how it is packed can all change the result, so the figure is only an estimate. We make a final plan from photos or video and, when needed, an in-person survey.
