Belongings storage in İstanbul
Between homes, during renovations or while you are abroad, we store your belongings in humidity-controlled facilities. We can also move them from your home into storage and from storage to your new address.
Who is storage for?
Storage is a practical stopgap when you need somewhere for your belongings for a while.
- You need to vacate your home, but your new one is not ready yet.
- You are moving out temporarily for renovations or kentsel dönüşüm (urban renewal of earthquake-risk buildings).
- You are going abroad or to another city for a while.
- You are moving to a smaller home and do not want to part with your extra belongings.
- You want to make room in your office or store archives and documents.
Storage conditions
We provide storage in partnership with our sister brand, Depocum. You can also find details of the storage options at depocum.gen.tr.
Our storage facilities in İstanbul are humidity-controlled, dry and hygienic. Air conditioning and climate-control systems help keep conditions stable.
The facilities are monitored by cameras 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They also have an alarm system and controlled access.
Your belongings are kept packed. Insured storage is also available if you choose it.
How much can each room hold?
We choose a room size to suit the volume of your belongings. For example:
- 15 m³ room: roughly the contents of a 1+1 home (one bedroom plus a living room)
- 22 m³ room: roughly the contents of a 2+1 home
- 28 m³ room: roughly the contents of a 3+1 home

The process: from home to storage and into your new home
From home to storage
We pack your belongings, dismantle any furniture that needs it and move everything to storage. Atasoy Nakliyat handles the move, so your belongings go directly from your home to storage with one team.
In storage
Your belongings stay packed in your room. The arrangement is flexible, so you can store them for a short or long period.
To your new home
When your new address is ready, we collect your belongings from storage, deliver them and reassemble the furniture.
What determines the price of storage?
The price depends on the size of the space, the storage period and any additional services you choose. Longer-term storage is generally better value.
For the moving service, the factors include the size of the home, the floor, lift arrangements and the distance.
Getting ready for storage
- Separate the belongings going into storage from those staying at home in advance.
- Write the contents on each box.
- Put items you may need often in separate boxes.
- Empty and dry the fridge and washing machine thoroughly in advance.
- Keep jewellery, cash, identity documents and other personal valuables with you.
