Personal data protection notice

This notice explains how your personal data is processed when you use atasoynakliyat.com, in line with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

What we process and why

  • Phone and WhatsApp contact: When you call us or message us on WhatsApp, the name, phone number and move details you send are used to prepare a quote and to contact you. The WhatsApp button takes you to WhatsApp; from then on WhatsApp's own terms also apply.
  • Visit statistics (only if you allow them): If you allow statistics cookies in the cookie banner, page views, clicks on the phone and WhatsApp buttons, page performance measurements, browser and device information and your IP address are processed together with a random visitor ID. The purpose is improving the site and measuring our advertising. If you do not allow them, no statistics data is collected; you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page. Details are in the cookie policy.
  • Moving plan tool: The provinces, volume and date you choose travel in the share link; the link contains no name, phone number or address. Ticks in the checklist stay on your device; when you create a share link, the ticks are carried in the part of the link after #, which is not sent to our server.
  • Address-to-address calculation (when enabled): The address text you type is sent to Google's Places and Routes services for suggestions and the route. When you press the show-map button, the Google place IDs of the two addresses are sent to Google for the map. Your name, phone number or any other identity detail is not sent to Google, and we do not store the addresses you type.
  • Moving assistant (AI): To use the assistant you enter your mobile number and a one-time verification code is sent to it on WhatsApp. We do not keep your number in clear text on our server; we keep only an irreversible, keyed digest of it (for verification limits, the daily allowance and the session). The messages you write to the assistant and the room photos you upload are sent to Amazon Web Services' Bedrock service (European regions) to produce a reply; we do not store them. Before a photo is sent, your browser shrinks the image and removes location and device data (EXIF). Using this feature is optional and based on your consent.
  • Weather: The centre coordinates of the provinces you choose are sent to Google for the forecast; they contain no personal data.
  • Security and abuse prevention: To limit excessive use of the tools, a salted, irreversible digest of your IP address is kept temporarily in server memory and is not stored permanently. Server access logs are kept for a limited time for security and debugging.

Legal grounds

Your data is processed under Article 5/2 of the KVKK because it is necessary to give you a quote and fulfil your request (point c), and because of our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (point f). Visit statistics rest on the explicit consent you give in the cookie banner (Article 5/1); you can withdraw it at any time, and a record of your choice (a random number, the date and the choice; no IP address or phone number) is kept. For the moving assistant, verifying your phone number and sending your messages to the AI service rests on your explicit consent (Article 5/1); you give it by ticking the box on the verification screen, and your consent record is kept. The address-to-address tool is optional; by choosing to use it you accept that the address text is transferred to Google's servers abroad (Articles 5/1 and 9). If you do not want this transfer, do not use the tool; the province-level part of the moving plan works without entering an address.

Who receives data

  • Google: address suggestions, routes, maps and weather services, and, if you allowed statistics, Google Analytics. Data can be transferred abroad.
  • Analytics infrastructure: if you allowed statistics, visit statistics are sent to a shared analytics platform that supports the business (Matomo) and to Google Analytics.
  • Amazon Web Services (Bedrock): the messages you write to the assistant and the photos you upload are processed to produce the AI reply; AWS states in its documentation that inputs are not used to train models.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): the verification code is sent with WhatsApp through our business account; conversations you hold on WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's terms.
  • Authorities: where a legal obligation arises, to the competent public bodies.

We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing.

Retention

  • Information about your quote and move request is deleted or anonymised 12 months after the request date.
  • The address text you type, the messages you write to the assistant and the photos you upload are not stored on our site.
  • Verification-code records are deleted after 7 days, the assistant's daily usage counters after 90 days and your consent record after 12 months.
  • User-level data in Google Analytics is kept for 14 months.
  • Your cookie choice is kept in your browser for 180 days, after which you are asked again; the choice record on our server is deleted after 12 months.
  • The temporary digest of the IP address stays in memory until the server restarts or the limit window ends.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know the parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or wrong data; request deletion or destruction; ask that these actions be notified to third parties that received the data; object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems; and claim compensation for loss caused by unlawful processing.

Updates to this notice

Before a new service such as a quote form goes live, this notice is updated to cover that service's processing of personal data. This version is dated 26 October 2026.
