Removals between İstanbul and Malatya
For this journey into Eastern Anatolia, we plan collection and delivery separately and consider road conditions alongside access at both homes.
Malatya is a provincial centre in Eastern Anatolia, reached from İstanbul by a long road journey. Work, university or a return to one's home province may prompt a move between the cities. We assess each inventory and both addresses separately.

The route from İstanbul to Malatya
Leaving Sancaktepe, the route follows the O-7 Northern Marmara Motorway, O-4 TEM / Anatolian Motorway, O-20 Ankara ring road and O-21 Ankara–Niğde Motorway. It then uses the Ağaçören–Kırşehir connection, links via D260 and D765, and the D260 and D300 Kayseri–Malatya axis to the provincial centre.
The driving figure is a non-stop estimate. It excludes rest breaks, traffic, weather, loading and unloading, so the roughly 11 hours 24 minutes is not a delivery-time promise. Depending on the collection date and conditions, loading may be followed by overnight travel and unloading the next day. We consider winter weather in Eastern Anatolia when agreeing the travel plan. For more on preparation, see our long-distance moving guide and long-distance removals service.
How we plan the delivery window
We agree the collection date, Malatya address and when the new home can be accessed. Loading, travel and unloading may not fit into one day, so we set a delivery window for each job. Road or weather conditions can affect it; we keep in touch if the plan needs to change.
For a small number of belongings, ask about part-load moving rather than a full household load. If the old home must be cleared before the new one is ready, we can discuss storage as part of the move.
Planning for the Malatya end
the table above gives Malatya city centre as the destination; delivery to another district adds a further leg. University, work and family changes may prompt a move, but each household differs. Vehicle access, entrances and floor layouts also vary within the centre.
Winter conditions in Eastern Anatolia may affect the approach to a property, vehicle access or working arrangements on the moving day. Let us know in advance about a sloping approach or narrow entrance, and share photographs where useful. Floor and lift details help us plan the team and unloading order, including for an address outside the provincial centre.
Packing and vehicle
For a long journey, we protect fragile items, wrap furniture surfaces, keep fittings with dismantled items and label boxes for their destination rooms. We secure belongings in a covered vehicle, loading with the unloading order in mind.
We assess the floors, building lifts and outside access at both properties. If a large item cannot be moved suitably through the stairs or building lift, we consider an exterior lift separately for collection and delivery. If you would like cover arranged for your belongings, we can discuss it through insured removals; this is arranged through partner providers and is subject to the policy terms.
What determines the price
The quote considers belongings volume and work involved, as well as floors, lifts and vehicle access at both addresses. Packing, furniture dismantling and assembly, and the date also matter. Delivery outside Malatya city centre adds the district leg; motorway tolls are reflected in the quote.
Send photographs, both addresses and floor details for an initial discussion. You can use the volume calculator as a starting point; we confirm the scope from images or a survey. Our guide explains how removal prices are calculated.
