Removals between İstanbul and Kastamonu

The Kastamonu journey leaves the motorways for the D100 and D765 links; we plan collection and delivery around the actual journey.

Kastamonu is a provincial centre in the Black Sea region, reached by road northwards from İstanbul. Work, study or a return to one's home province may prompt a move. We confirm both addresses, the inventory and preferred date.

The route from İstanbul to Kastamonu

Leaving Sancaktepe, the route follows the O-7 Northern Marmara Motorway and O-4 TEM / Anatolian Motorway, then the D100 İstanbul–Ankara / Black Sea state road. It joins the D765 Kastamonu / Boğazlıyan axis towards the city centre.

The roughly 5 hours 12 minutes in the table above is a non-stop estimate, excluding breaks, traffic, loading and unloading; it is not a delivery time. Depending on the journey and rest breaks, unloading may be later that day or the next. We review Black Sea winter conditions closer to the travel date. See our long-distance moving guide for preparation.

How we plan the delivery window

We agree the collection date and when the Kastamonu address can be accessed. Driving, breaks, traffic and building access shape a job-specific delivery window. Tell us about restrictions or key arrangements early.

For a smaller load, ask about part-load moving. If the dates do not match, we can discuss storage.

Planning for the Kastamonu end

the table above gives Kastamonu city centre as the destination; another district adds distance and access considerations. As a university city, study may prompt a move, alongside work or family changes. Your belongings and dates determine the individual plan.

Black Sea winter weather may affect loading or access. We ask about the building lift, staircase and vehicle stopping point. For an address outside the centre, a photograph or location pin can help us assess the final approach. Mention winter access concerns when discussing the quote.

Packing and vehicle

For a long-distance move, we protect fragile pieces, wrap furniture and keep fittings with the item they belong to. We label boxes by destination room, secure the load and plan to use a covered vehicle.

We check floors, lifts and outside access at both addresses. If large furniture will not fit, we consider an exterior lift. Cover can be discussed through insured removals, arranged by partners subject to policy terms.

What determines the price

The quote considers route distance, volume and service scope, plus floors, lifts, vehicle access, packing, dismantling and assembly, and the date. A delivery outside Kastamonu city centre adds the district leg. Motorway tolls are reflected in the quote.

Share photographs or video, addresses and floor details. The volume calculator offers an initial indication; see how removal prices are calculated.
