Removals between İstanbul and Antalya
For a move towards the Mediterranean, we plan motorway and state-road stages, rest breaks and access at the destination together.

Antalya is a coastal provincial centre in the Mediterranean region, reached from İstanbul by a long road journey. Work, studies or family circumstances may prompt a move between the cities. We assess each job's dates and belongings separately.

Distance and time computed with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data from our Sancaktepe base to Antalya city centre (2026-10-01); lorry speed, breaks and weather are not included. Population is the TÜİK ADNKS figure as recorded on Wikidata. Population and migration: TÜİK, Address-Based Population Registration System and Internal Migration Statistics 2025 (reuse permitted with attribution). Climate: NASA POWER monthly climatology 2001–2020 for the roughly 50 km grid cell containing the city centre; coastal and mountain differences are averaged within the cell. University count from Wikidata (CC0); check each university's own site for campuses and programmes.

The route from İstanbul to Antalya
From Sancaktepe, the route uses the O-4 TEM / Anatolian Motorway, O-5 İstanbul–İzmir Motorway and Osmangazi Bridge. It continues via the 16-10 and D-160 state-road sections to the D650 Afyon–Antalya state road, then the D230 and D650 connection.
the roughly 8 hours 19 minutes in the table above is a non-stop estimate, excluding breaks, traffic, loading and unloading; it is not an arrival promise. NASA POWER's 2001–2020 average gives a January mean of about 7 °C for the grid cell containing the provincial centre. Depending on access and conditions, travel may continue overnight and unloading take place the next day. We consider Mediterranean summer conditions and traffic during planning, without assuming a particular outcome. Read our long-distance moving guide for preparation.
Who moves to Antalya
In Antalya's 2025 arrivals, household dependence accounted for about 30 % of stated reasons, better housing and living conditions about 25 %, and starting or finding work about 14 %. The shares describe records with a stated reason, not a single profile for every household. More people moved into the province than left it that year: 96,027 arrivals against 67,649 departures, a net gain of 28,378 and a rate of 10.27 per thousand. That places Antalya on the receiving side of migration; it does not set an individual moving date or demand. The work-related category can include people arriving with a smaller personal load for a new job; ask about part-load moving for that kind of move. TÜİK İç Göç İstatistikleri 2025 reports these reasons.
How we plan the delivery window
We confirm when loading can take place in İstanbul and when the Antalya home will be accessible. The unloading order and whether the destination is in the centre or another district shape the plan. We agree a job-specific delivery window that allows for the journey and rest breaks; traffic and weather can affect it.
For a smaller load, ask about part-load moving. If the new home will not be ready, we can discuss storage between collection and delivery.
Districts of Antalya: distance from İstanbul
If the delivery address is outside the city centre, distance and driving time depend on the district. The figures below are road estimates from our Sancaktepe base to each district centre; the quote plan weighs this distance together with the access at the address.

Planning for the Antalya end
the table at the top of the page gives Antalya city centre as the destination; another district adds distance and its own access conditions. As a university city, Antalya may draw study-related moves, alongside work or family changes. Dates and volumes differ by household.
Entrances, service lifts and vehicle access vary between coastal apartment blocks. As Mediterranean summers can be hot, we consider working hours and building rules. Tell us about site entry procedures, narrow stairs or where a lorry can wait, including for addresses outside the centre.
Packing and vehicle
For hours on the road, we pack to suit each item: fragile belongings are separated, furniture edges protected and dismantled fittings kept together. We label boxes by room, secure the load and consider unloading order. We plan to use a covered vehicle.
We check floors, building lifts and outside access at both addresses. If large furniture will not fit, we assess an exterior lift for either end. Cover can be arranged through insured removals, via partners and subject to policy terms.
What determines the price
The quote considers distance and volume, floors and lifts at both buildings, vehicle access, packing, furniture dismantling and assembly, and the date. A destination outside Antalya city centre adds a road leg. Motorway and bridge tolls are reflected in the quote.
Share photographs or video, both addresses and floor details. The volume calculator supports an initial assessment; see our removal pricing guide for the factors considered.
Frequently asked questions
Can you move a single item from İstanbul to Antalya?
We assess the item's dimensions, collection floor and access in Antalya. For a small load, see part-load moving.
Do you move homes from Antalya to İstanbul?
Yes. We collect the inventory, building details and preferred date for the Antalya address.
Can we set an exact delivery time in summer?
We agree a job-specific window. The journey, breaks, traffic and building access may affect it, so we do not promise an exact arrival hour.
What if I receive the keys to my new home later?
We can discuss storage if belongings must wait. Share when the new address is expected to be ready so we can consider a two-stage plan.
Where to next?
Tell us where from, where to and when. A few photos are usually enough for a quote.
