Removals between İstanbul and Ordu
For a move to Ordu, we plan the coastal-road journey, the load and access at the delivery address together.
Ordu lies on the Black Sea coast; this route calculation ends at the provincial centre. We move in either direction, with extra distance for another district. Education, joining family or a change of home may prompt a move; the inventory and access shape the plan.

Distance and time computed with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data from our Sancaktepe base to Ordu city centre (2026-10-01); lorry speed, breaks and weather are not included. Population is the TÜİK ADNKS figure as recorded on Wikidata. The road from İstanbul to Ordu
From Sancaktepe, we take the O-7 and O-4 TEM / Anatolian Motorway to the D100 state road, then D795 and the D010 Black Sea coastal road to Ordu. The table above gives about 852 km and nearly ten hours of uninterrupted driving, excluding loading and delivery. We plan an overnight stop or a two-day journey with driver rest. Motorway tolls are included in the quotation once the route is clear.
Who is moving to Ordu
TÜİK's 2025 figures show that around 26 % of arrivals in Ordu cited dependence on a household or family member, around 19 % better housing and living conditions, and around 16 % education. When someone joins family, we check which furniture will fit the new home and which items may need storage. A search for a more suitable home does not necessarily mean more belongings, so we discuss the inventory and room layout. During the academic year, a student may need to move a single room or a few items between a dormitory and a flat. If the volume is small and dates align, we can discuss part-load moving; for belongings waiting between moves, see storage.
How we arrange the delivery window
We plan around the loading period, readiness of the Ordu address, driver breaks and carrying distance. Each job has its own delivery window, which may change with traffic, rain or building access. For a small load, we can check whether a vehicle and date align. Send both addresses, photographs and a preferred date range through contact.
At the Ordu end
The Ordu centre is coastal; an inland district adds distance and may change the lorry's final approach. We check the full address, vehicle access, floor, stairs, doorway width, parking and carrying distance. Dimensions help us plan for bulky furniture or white goods. We ask about the İstanbul property too.
Packing and vehicle
For a long journey, we reduce empty space in cartons, wrap fragile items appropriately, protect furniture and secure the load inside the vehicle. A closed-body vehicle helps protect belongings from external conditions. A well-organised load also makes it easier to reach the right items at delivery. We review floors and entrances at both properties to decide whether an external lift is needed; our external lift moving page has further details. You can also read about insured removals; any cover arranged is subject to the policy terms.
Moving in summer heat
NASA POWER's 2001–2020 provincial-centre figure for July is a monthly mean temperature of about 22.7 °C, not a forecast for a particular day. We can discuss whether an earlier loading start suits the summer plan. Tell us in advance about heat- or waiting-sensitive belongings such as electronics, candles and plants. Items better carried with you in a personal vehicle or cab should be kept separate from the removal load. We do not promise journey times; the delivery window is agreed for each job in light of weather, traffic and access.
What affects the cost
We assess the volume, packing and restraint needs, floors and lifts at both ends, vehicle access, date and route of about 852 km. Motorway tolls and the work and rest arrangements needed for a long-distance journey can also affect the scope. We do not assume that a single room, selected furniture and a full household need the same vehicle. Share the details so we can define the job. Our moving-price guide explains the factors, and the calculator is another starting point.
Frequently asked questions
Do you also move from Ordu to İstanbul?
Yes. We plan moves from Ordu to İstanbul as well, using access at both addresses, the inventory and the preferred date to assess the journey.
Can you deliver to districts outside Ordu centre?
Send the full address. We will assess the distance beyond the centre and the final road access separately.
What if I have only a few items?
Send photographs or dimensions, both addresses and suitable dates. We can check whether the vehicle plan on the route can accommodate the load.
How should I prepare heat-sensitive belongings?
Tell us about electronics, plants or candles before the move. We can help separate items travelling in the vehicle from those better kept with you.
Where to next?
Tell us where from, where to and when. A few photos are usually enough for a quote.
